Beach crafts

Every year I plan several crafts to do with the grands at the beach. This year was no exception. We tie dyed t-shirts, colored our own sand and created sand in a bottle.

Coloring sand is easy. You need food coloring, sandwich bags, beach sand and kids!
Use colored sand to place in bottles for a keepsake of your beach trip. Destination and year can be placed on the bottle with vinyl letters or an old fashion marker,
We first wet our t-shirts in the ocean and tied off sections of the t-shirts with rubber bands. Then we got to squirting colors on the shirts. I used ready made tie-dye purchased at Hobby Lobby and bottle water.
The kids did a wonderful job!
